Easy Keylime Pie

I’m soooo behind on posting recipes.. SORRY! haha. but here is a really easy and delicious dessert that can be made on a weeknight dinner or for a upcoming weekend party! It’s actually my first time trying Keylime Pie and I have to say I love it, just as much as the Lemon Meringue Tarts I made before. I am not a fan of super sweet stuff so I think the tang from both the lemons and the limes in both these recipes compliment the sweetness of sugar, which made them both soo delicious to me (and hopefully you too!). Inspired by my friend Helene (since this is her favourite) I found this easy recipe online.

Keylime Pie

Stuff you need:

5 egg yolks beaten
1 can (14oz) of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of lime juice (I used fresh squeezed)
1 prepared graham crust (I used chocolate, and I bought it from No Frills)

Putting it all together

SO EASY.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Get all your ingredients ready and put everything (except for the crust of course) into the Kitchen Aid mixer with the whisk attachment. (If you don’t have a Kitchen Aid, just simply use a hand held mixer.) When everything is well mixed, pour it into the crust and bake for 15 mins.

I like to put the pie in the fridge to chill for about 1 hour or more before serving.

I decorated the pie with lime slices and a curl in the middle for presentation purposes and it was yummy!! 🙂 Enjoy!
